Liberia: do South Africans need a visa?
South Africans need to apply online for an e-visa before travel to Liberia.
On the e-VOA, 30 or 90 days, set by the officer at the airport based on your planned visit.
Visa needed. Since March 2025 Liberia offers an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA): you apply and pay online, then the visa is issued at Roberts International Airport. Liberia Immigration Service says that if there is a Liberian embassy in your country you must apply at the embassy instead. Liberia's embassy coverage of South Africa was not confirmed, so check whether South Africans may use the e-VOA.34
