Morocco: do South Africans need a visa?

South Africans need to apply for a visa before travel to Morocco.

Embassy visa: the length is set on the visa. Not published officially; one unofficial guide says up to 90 days for tourism. e-Visa: one entry, stay of up to 30 days, use within 180 days of issue.

Visa required. South Africans normally apply for a visa at the Embassy of Morocco in Pretoria. You can use the online e-Visa instead only if you already hold a valid visa or residence permit from the Schengen area, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland, or a residence permit from Cyprus, Japan or the UAE.234

Vaccinations, including yellow fever on return to South Africa

Morocco does not require yellow fever or other vaccinations from South African travellers. A polio certificate may be required if you come from a polio-affected country.
