Myanmar: do South Africans need a visa?
South Africans need to apply online for an e-visa before travel to Myanmar. You can stay up to 28 days per visit.
Visa required before travel; there is no visa on arrival. Tourist and business e-visas are issued online through the Ministry of Immigration and Population portal, evisa.moip.gov.mm. Wikipedia's South African citizens table lists eVisa; South Africa's place on the official eligible list could not be confirmed. The UK FCDO advises against all travel to large parts of Myanmar.134

Vaccinations, including yellow fever on return to South Africa
Myanmar requires a yellow fever certificate if you arrive from a yellow fever transmission risk country (UK FCDO). Myanmar is not a yellow fever risk country, so South Africa does not require a yellow fever certificate when you return directly.1
