Singapore: do South Africans need a visa?

South Africans don't need a visa for Singapore. You can stay up to 30 days per visit, and you can apply to extend.

Vaccinations, including yellow fever on return to South Africa

Yellow fever certificate required from anyone who has recently been in a yellow fever risk area (FCDO: within the 6 days before arrival). South Africa is not a risk country, so direct travellers from SA need none; travellers coming via e.g. Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana or Brazil do.25

Arrival forms

SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with mandatory health declaration, compulsory for all travellers except those transiting without clearing immigration. Submit within 3 days (including arrival day) before arrival via the ICA SGAC e-Service or MyICA app. Free of charge; commercial sites charging fees are not ICA.3

Extending your stay and overstaying

Short-term visitors can apply online to extend their Visit Pass (ICA e-Service). Overstaying is an offence: fines, imprisonment, caning (for longer overstays) and deportation.25

Airside transit without immigration clearance: no SGAC needed. Visa-Free Transit Facility (up to 96 hours) exists for visa-required nationals; not needed by South Africans.23
