Vaccinations, including yellow fever on return to South Africa
South Sudan requires a yellow fever vaccination certificate to enter. South Sudan is also on South Africa's yellow fever risk list, so you need a valid yellow fever certificate to re-enter South Africa after visiting, or after an airport transit of more than 12 hours there. The vaccine takes effect 10 days after the jab and the certificate is valid for life.247
