South Africans can get a visa on arrival in Nepal. You can stay up to 90 days per visit, and you can apply to extend.

How to apply

On arrival (Tribhuvan International Airport and land entry points) or online up to 15 days before arrival at nepaliport.immigration.gov.np, then pay at the airport. Fees (US State Dept): USD 30 for 15 days, USD 50 for 30 days, USD 125 for 90 days, in US dollars; at land borders bring clean USD notes (2003 or newer).23
